The female blood elf had spent her younger years off to herself, studying the magic she had been told about on her terms. Ever since she was young, Jenesse saw the arcane world in a very different perspective, not to be wielded or thrown, but imbued into objects to benefit her efforts. She figured out how to imbue the arcane arts into her bow and fill her arrows with magcal energy to rend her foes to pieces. She, and her beloved dragon, Za’kari, used their magic in ways that even her fellow Sin’dorei would abhor, thus leading to her becoming an outcast, where everyone looked down at her with disgust. Hurt, she continued to wield her magic in even more powerful and potent ways, hoping to show her people that her magic was useful. They refused to listen, and she felt all-alone in a world where there were many, until a group of tough-looking marauders showed up looking for her.
Jenesse hadn’t seen many people since her exile. In fact, it had been years since the hunter had seen anything but the mana wyrms that patrolled her home in the sky. When she saw the travelers coming her way, she got excited and frantically ran around to make sure she was presentable for the guests. They came up to her house and spoke to her, the troll knowing here name. She was confused and asked the troll why he was there. The troll, Jakaari, said he was there to offer her a new start, a new beginning for all. Jenesse was confused, she did not want to leave her house, but something about this old warrior compelled her to consider. She saw the tension between he other blood elf in the group and Jakaari as well, and watched as the elf challenged the authority of their leader. Jakaari challenged him to a duel and it was over before the paladin could even make a point. Jenesse knew that this was a man to be trusted, a strong warrior with a heart for those who had none, but why her? She wondered why he wanted her specifically. The elf agreed to join and they all decided to head back to Orgrimmar to rest. Jenesse watched as the troll used magic to bind the hearthstones together and she grasped hers firmly, and closed her eyes. As she opened them, she was standing next to Jakaari, who awaited her return to consciousness. She didn’t know where the rest of the group was though. She followed Jakaari, and the two waited until the others eventually found their way back. Jakaari led the group to an old tower, where he had set up a formidable defense for the group. It wasn’t like her other home, but Jenesse felt like this home was more of a home than her last, because this one had something the sky tower did not...friendship.
