Guraksog was just like any other orc, hotheaded, ignorant, and not the most forgiving. What he wasn’t was a pure blood orc, for his skin was green. Therefore, when Garrosh took over the horde and created his true, pureblood Horde, Guraksog wasn’t allowed to return. Banished from his own home city, he ventured off to the Echo Isles, where he found Vol’jin, the leader of the Darkspear. He refused to immerse with the trolls, instead relying on foraging for food and training to fight by himself. As the tension grew between the Horde and Garrosh, he barricaded himself inside the city of Orgrimmar. The armies of Azeroth saw this as an opportunity, and attacked. Guraksog assisted in the fighting and eventual fall of Garrosh Hellscream, but his trust with the Horde never fully repaired. He decided to be a mercenary, taking small jobs and never really settling down or trusting anyone, leading him to often kill his contacts after they paid him. He could never trust anyone, that is, until a mangy band of marauders showed up one day.
